2nd 9 weeks

We are beginning the 2nd half of our semester (2nd 9 weeks). Grades are being updated with notebooks that were checked last week AND with grades from TESTS in modules that should have been taken up to at least one half 1/2  of ALL your course modules.

Week of September 18

Students who are not at OR close to being at least 1/2 way through the TOTAL number of modules they have in their course(s) will need to put in extra time at home over the FALL BREAK next week working on lessons & quizzes to catch up.  After fall break, grades in Synergy will be updated to reflect being at your half way mark at 9 weeks (of 18 week semester). Notebooks will be checked after the break as well. Please see me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Grades have been updated with notebooks and highest test score made so far in each module.  1st 6 week progress reports will be distributed NEXT WEEK!

If you have not already... please start returning last page of contract/syllabus (that can also be found here on blog UNDER PAGES) with parent & student signatures and contact information that I can add to my REMIND (also found here on blog UNDER PAGES . You may also go ahead and sign up with my information below. I will start sending out reminders SOON!!

Week of July 31

Welcome Back! 

Students that have been referred to me via a schedule and their counselors' permission should now be enrolled in their course(s) if they have physically shown up to class. Contracts/Syllabi ( link under pages) are currently being distributed as well. The last page should be returned with parent/student info for my reminders coming out soon!

Reminders....

Students who have courses with ANY unfinished assignments (including the writing assignments for English courses)will receive zeros affecting your final grade. All work must be finished by the last day of school ...May 19 for seniors AND May 24 for EVERYONE else!

Things coming up for last 6 weeks....

April 17-21:  Notebook check #3

May 1 - 11: EOCs - END OF COURSE TESTS

Geometry students will get copies of EOC study guide packet shown in GradPoint AND all other EOC courses should have access to practice tests online on computer.

Students with English courses need to have ALL writing assignments printed and turned in to me or submitted in your course dropbox NO LATER THAN Monday, May 22. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE SUBMITTING ALL THESE AT ONE TIME!!!

Week of March 27

2nd 6 week grading period ends Friday, 3/31.
